Workshop Description

There are many components that can go into composing successful visual statements. Narrowing one's focus-to understand what these are, what their balance is, and how to utilize them to say whatever it is we are trying to say-is very important in achieving this goal. This class will utilize the figure in intimate settings, exploring light and shadow-various visual elements (shape, value, edges, color)-their relationships to aid in seeing the "Big Idea". There will be a demo and individual instruction. This class is designed for the intermediate to advanced student, but all are welcome.
